Transparency Information

80% of our coffees purchased last calendar year met the criteria for transparency according to the transparency pledge. Here's the lowdown on our offerings:


~Active~

• Finca Don Carlos // Bolivia - An 87 point coffee, purchased from 88 graines, a first time supplier, in a 60kg lot, for 17.90 USD/KG. FOB price paid was $10.50 USD/kg

• Frinsa Estate // Indonesia - An 86 point coffee, purchased from Nordic Approach, a first time supplier, in a 60kg lot, for 14.70 USD/KG. FOB price paid was $7.95 USD/kg FOB ($7.52 USD/kg to the farmer, who is also the exporter)

• El Aguacate // Honduras - Used as a base for our Seasonal Espresso Blend: An 85 point coffee, purchased fromNordic Approach, a first time supplier, in a 60kg lot, for 6 USD/KG. FOB price paid was $8.20 USD/kg FOB (which is to the exporter. The farmer (Caballeros) uses an exporter so they probably receive somewhere in the range of $7.50 USD/kg themselves.))


~Historic~


• El Sanjon // Columbia - an 89 point coffee, purchased from The Coffee Quest, in our first purchase from them, in a 24kg lot, for 30 euro/kg. Free on Board price paid was 14.62 USD/kg.

• Huila // Columbia - An 86 point coffee, purchased from The Coffee Quest, a first time supplier, in a 70kg lot, for 9.76 EUR/kg. Free on Board price paid was 5.82 USD/kg

• Chelchele // Ethiopia - An 86 point coffee, purchased from Cafe Imports Europe, a first time supplier, in a 60kg lot, for 10.56 USD/KG. We were unable to attain the free on board price paid by cafe imports.
